1) Who this policy applies to

Consumer customers: This policy sets out your rights and our process for returns, withdrawals and refunds for distance sales.

Business customers: No statutory right of withdrawal applies. Returns are accepted only at our discretion, except for defects subject to mandatory law or agreed warranty.
2) Cooling-off / right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)

Window: You have 14 days from delivery to notify us that you withdraw from the contract (“change of mind”).

Extended satisfaction guarantee: Some products carry an explicit 30-day satisfaction guarantee — this only applies when the product page or promotional material explicitly states the extended period and under the conditions shown there. The statutory 14-day withdrawal right always applies; the 30-day guarantee is an optional, additional promise for specific products only.

How to notify: Email info@autonlaturit.com with your order number, name, and postal address. We’ll reply with return instructions (RMA). Sending your notice within 14 days is sufficient to meet the deadline.

Return deadline: Ship the goods back within 14 days from your withdrawal notice unless the product page explicitly states a longer return window under the 30-day guarantee.

Who pays return shipping: For withdrawal/change-of-mind returns, you pay the return shipping. Use a tracked, insured service appropriate for high-value goods.

Made-to-order items: Custom/non-standard items (e.g., very long and/or rarely sold charging cables) are not eligible for withdrawal if clearly indicated on the product page.
- Withdrawal window & returns: You must send your cancellation/withdrawal notice within the statutory window. Sending a request for return instructions, receiving a return authorisation from us (a short reference number and email with instructions) or receiving a prepaid return label from us does NOT extend, pause or restart the statutory deadlines.
What is a return authorisation? A return authorisation (RMA) is simply a short reference number and instructions we email you that tell you how and where to return the item. It is a logistical step only and does not affect the legal 14/30-day withdrawal period.
3) Condition of returned goods & diminished value
You may open the package and test the product as you would in a physical store. If the product shows use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct a reasonable amount for diminished value from your refund.
Please return all accessories, documentation and original packaging where possible, and pack securely. Damage, missing parts or heavy wear can reduce the refund.
Until the goods are delivered to our designated return hub, you are responsible for the condition and risk of the return; keep proof of postage and tracking.
Tamper/identifiers: Do not remove serial number labels or safety markings. Removal or tampering may affect eligibility for a refund except where required by mandatory law.
Safety & packaging (high-voltage equipment): Fit all protective caps, avoid moisture, and pad connectors so metal parts cannot be damaged in transit. Use the original box and inserts where available or equivalent protective packaging.
4) Faulty, damaged or wrong item received (DoA / non-conformity)
- Contact us immediately at info@autonlaturit.com (include order number, description and photos).
- We aim to acknowledge claims within 2 business days and will provide a prepaid return label where applicable.

Replacement shipping: For approved warranty/defect cases we cover standard shipping of the replacement to you. If you request premium/express shipping, the upgrade cost is payable by you.
- Remedies follow applicable consumer law: inspection → repair or replacement where reasonable; if not feasible within a reasonable time, refund.

For transport damage or items dead-on-arrival, please report within 7 days of delivery so we can open a carrier claim and expedite a remedy.
5) Returns process (RMA) — step by step

Email info@autonlaturit.com to obtain an RMA/instructions.

Pack the item securely; include all parts and the RMA reference.

Ship using a tracked service; keep the receipt/tracking.

We confirm receipt, inspect the goods, and process the remedy/refund.
High-value shipments: we may ask for the product serial number and photos; please retain proof of postage.
Change-of-mind returns: On request, we can provide a prepaid return label and deduct the label cost from your refund.
Unauthorised returns: Parcels returned without an RMA reference may be refused or returned to sender. We do not accept cash-on-delivery (COD) returns.
6) Refunds — method, timing & currencies

Method: Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Timing: For withdrawal returns, we issue the refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof of return shipment, where allowed). Faulty-item refunds follow after inspection and decision on remedy.

Currency & fees: Refunds are processed in the original transaction currency. Any bank/provider fees, exchange-rate differences or processing times set by your payment provider are outside our control.

Non-refundable charges: If any duties/taxes were charged on import (non-EU/UK/CH returns), these are generally not refundable by us. You may be able to reclaim them from your local authority.

Outbound shipping: We refund the standard outbound shipping cost where applicable. Any premium/express shipping upgrades are non-refundable.

Inspection timeline: After your return arrives, inspection typically takes 3–5 business days; the refund is then released to your original payment method.

Bundles/sets: If only part of a bundle is returned, any bundle discounts may be recalculated when determining the refund.

Refund recipient: Refunds are issued only to the original payer/account used at checkout for compliance and fraud-prevention reasons. For gifts, the refund is made to the purchaser. Amounts paid by gift card/store credit are refunded to the same.
7) Exchanges
For the fastest turnaround, place a new order for the desired item. We will refund the original order once the return is processed.
8) Items not eligible for return
- Custom/made-to-order goods stated as such on the product page.

Items damaged by misuse, neglect, unauthorised modification or installation contrary to the manual.

Goods returned incomplete (missing essential accessories) may incur a deduction.
9) Uncollected parcels / refused deliveries
If a parcel is not collected within the carrier’s hold period and is returned to us, we treat the order as cancelled by the customer. We may deduct/offset the actual outbound and return shipping and handling costs from any refund, or re-ship upon payment of re-shipping costs.
Before treating an order as cancelled we will make commercially reasonable efforts to contact you using the details provided. Any refund due (after deductions) will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned parcel.
10) Warranty (summary)
Our products carry a 12–36 month warranty (duration shown on each product page). Warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use; it does not cover misuse, accidents or unauthorised modifications. Warranty handling follows the steps in section 5 (RMA). Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

For returns from outside the EU/UK/CH, clearly mark the parcel as “Returned goods — no commercial value” and include the original export documents where available to avoid duplicate duties. You are responsible for any customs clearance charges on return shipments unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Incoterms for returns: Unless we agree otherwise in writing, return shipments must be sent DAP (Delivered At Place) to the return hub we specify. Do not ship returns DDP billed to us without prior approval.
12) Governing version & local rights
This Refund Policy is provided in English for international customers. Translations may be offered for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law. Consumers retain their statutory rights under the laws of their country of residence.
