It shouldn't have been possible. Namely, the construction of an adapter that would enable charging cars that support CHAdeMO fast charging with CCS chargers. However, as a result of the long development work of the Chinese, partly helped by Finnish engineering work, a breakthrough has been achieved. Why is it so expensive?
As said, the adapter has required a really long and thorough design work. Inside the adapter is practically a small computer that controls the process. It also has very expensive parts.

The adapter enables a completely new kind of freedom for CHAdeMO fully electric cars. Thanks to the adapter, the car can use the widest charging network, because compared to CCS cars, it still has the CHAdeMO charging option. Therefore, buying an adapter both makes life easier for the user and improves the car's resale value. In addition, the charging power improves, because the adapter enables a charging power of more than 70kW, while CHAdeMO stations are mostly max. 50kW.

The adapter does not yet support all electric cars and CCS chargers charging with the CHAdeMO standard. With software updates, the goal is to have it work on all CHAdeMO cars and CCS chargers. If it happens that your own car is not yet among the supported ones, you can return the product within 14 days of delivery. Of course, the right to return is valid for all other reasons as well.
